GA-All-stars owner and director is Becky Oppenheimer.
Becky is a Professional Member of USA Gymnastics and AAU Gymnastics. Ms. Oppenheimer is on the USA Gymnastics State Board of Directors as the Level 7 & PO USA Representative. In addition, she is on the AAU State Board of Directors as the Optional Team Representative. Becky is a Nationally Rated Gymnastics Judge and a distinguished member of the NAWGJ. She has judged the NCAA Regional & National Championships and the AAU National Championships as well as many State Championships and local competitions. Becky is also a former President of the Georgia Gymnastics Coaches Association and was a competitive gymnasts. As an athlete she was an All-Around Georgia State Champion and member of the University of Georgia gymnastics team. Becky is a certified PDP I & II, CPR trained and has coached many Georgia State Champions, Regional Qualifiers, Regional Champions, National Qualifiers and National Champions.

training center offers gymnastics for all ages and skill levels from pre-school to high school and offers daytime classes for home schooled children as well. The goal of the center is to provide professional, high-quality program instruction for all ages and levels in a fun and safe learning environment. In addition, we seek to train competitive athletes to reach their greatest potential and enhance their skills through individualized attention in a positive environment.
Patrick Thomas was born in Blairsville, GA on February 10th. Patrick was an avid athlete throughout his youth participating in basketball, soccer, baseball, golf, tennis, hiking, camping and biking. Patrick has over 14 years of experience coaching youth, both boys and girls from preschool through level 10. Having coached our state, regional and national athletes and champions he bring his strong skills and leadership to all aspects of coaching at GASG. At the age of 22 Patrick took the lead and developed a strong optional team, has been a clinician at Woodward Gymnastics Camp for 6 years and currently attending KSU Business School. A USAG Professional member, first aid certified, USECA Certification.
Tish Negron was born in Ft. Campbell, KY, as a youth Tish participated and excelled in the sports of Softball and Soccer making the All-Star team each of the years that she participated. Tish was a strong athlete which allowed her to attend the University of Denver on a Full Athletic Scholarship. Tish coaches our compulsory and option team girls on Floor and Vault. She also choreographs our optional floor routines. Tish has been coaching since 1986 and holds the honor of Coach of the Year in 1998. She is a Professional member of USAG.
Danielle Wharton was born in Cadiz, KY where she trained at Hopkinsville Gymnastics Academy. She started her gymnastics and dance career at the ripe age of 3 and never stopped. Danielle competed in the sport of gymnastics through level 8 when she turned to cheerleading. She was a competitive cheerleader for 4 years at Western Kentucky University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting and a minor in African American Studies. Danielle also holds a Dance Ministry with her church teaching lyrical dance for over 10 years. Danielle coaches our Level 1 through 5, Advanced Pre-School and Twinklers and is part of our Prep-op coaching staff. Danielle also instructs the Hip-Hop and Dance/Gymnastics combo classes here at Georgia All-Star Gymnastics. Danielle’s favorite part of coaching is to see a child smile as they get a new skill and to hear them, with such pride, yell “I did it”. Danielle is a professional member of USAG.
Susan Haldeman-Lee was born in New York City, NY where she participated in gymnastics at her Junior High performing exhibitions for area events and schools. Susan is not only experienced in gymnastics she has trained and competed on the Country Western Dance Team and participated in Ballroom dancing, biking, scuba diving, aerobics, weight training & conditioning. Recognized for her dance/gymnastics program Susan was invited to present her lesson plan at USAG National Congress. Susan earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University in Dance Education and Physical Education. She earned a scholarship to the Pennsylvania Ballet where she danced for more than 3 years with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Susan is a member of USAG, International Sports Medicine Association and Safety Certified in Exercise Science.
Annette Mitchell was born in Stockholm, Sweden on October 29. Annette was a competitive athlete for the Swedish National Team and participated in the World Championships in Fort Worth, Texas. She enjoys horseback riding and swimming in her off time, after spending time with her family. She has been coaching for over 20 years and has accumulated a long list of state and national athletes not only in artistic gymnastics but in the USAG TOPS program. Annette is a USAG Professional member and is safety certified.
