Tuition Fees

Please refer to our posted class schedule for tuition costs.  We offer both multi-student and multi-class discounts.  The most expensive tuition is always considered to be the “first child”.

Absences and Make-Ups

Georgia All-Stars runs approximately 2 make-up classes per session on Saturdays.  A make-up schedule is posted on the website under “Important Dates”, and can be picked up at the front desk.  You must sign-up for make-up classes with the front desk.  We encourage all students to attend the scheduled make-up classes.  We do on occasion allow a student to make-up in another class if there is space available. If you arrive for class more than 10 minutes late, please arrange a make-up as your child will have missed the stretch and warm-up period.

Inclement Weather

If Cherokee County schools close due to inclement weather, Georgia All-Stars will be closed for the morning.  Management will then consider road conditions, etc. and decide if we will open in the afternoon for classes and practice.  The gym phone recording will be changed to provide you with information about our plans.  If classes are cancelled, make-up classes will be offered.

Calendar

The current schedule started on August 13th and will continue through May 16th.  Additional classes may be added during the year as needed.  In Addition, any classes not meeting the minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.  Although our goal is to make as few changes as possible, instructors are subject to change without notice.

Georgia All-Stars does offer a second schedule during the months of June and July.  Summer enrollment does require a separate registration since class times and days are different.  A registration fee is only due for the summer session if you are a new student.

Georgia All-Stars will be closed for the following holidays during the 2007 – 2008 school year:

Labor Day         Monday, Sept. 3rd (make-ups will be held on Sat., Sept. 8th)

Thanksgiving     Monday, Nov. 19th – Friday, Nov. 23rd

Holiday Break   Monday, Dec. 24th – Friday, Jan. 4th

Spring Break     Monday, Apr. 7th – Fri., Apr. 11th

Extravaganza

Our End of Year “Extravaganza” will be held on Saturday May 17, 2008.  The Extravaganza is a performance given by all of our students for their family and friends at the conclusion of the school year.  During the Extravaganza, students will show what they have accomplished on each event during the year.  Students will receive trophies and certificates during the awards ceremony.  The cost for the Extravaganza is $25 for the first student and $15 for each additional student.  You are invited to bring as many guests as you wish, and remember your camera and video.  You will receive a registration form and performance schedule in early April.

Registering/Moving During the Year

Georgia All-Stars is a progressive gym, and therefore on-going registration is no problem.  Each student moves at their own pace based on skill attainment, so availability in our classes changes on a regular basis.

You are welcome to change classes at the beginning of any session provided there is space available.  We do recommend limiting the amount of class movement during the year to promote consistency and the greatest learning potential for the students.

Withdrawing

We require a two week written notice before the end of the session if you are not returning for the next session.  No notice will be required if you will not be attending the summer session.  We will hold your space in the class until you inform Georgia All-Stars in writing of plans to stop attending.  Telling the instructor your child is dropping is not sufficient notification; you must stop by the front desk and fill out a Notice of Withdrawal form. You are responsible for any tuition charged if the office was not properly notified, since we continued to save your space in the class rather than fill it with another student.

What to Wear

Female gymnasts may wear a leotard with briefs underneath or bike shorts over, or shorts/stretch pants and a t-shirt.  Males should wear shorts/pants and a t-shirt.  Shorts/pants need to have elasticized waists (no button or zippers).  Long hair needs to be pulled back and jewelry should not be worn.  Tumbling for Cheer students should wear shoes appropriate for tumbling or go barefoot. Please do not allow your child to wear any type of jewelry.

Parking Lot

Please drive safely and be on the look out for pedestrians, especially toddlers, when navigating through our parking area.  Remember to instruct your child to wait inside the building until you arrive.  Once children leave the building, they are under the responsibility of the parents.  The lot will be near capacity at peak times of the day, so plan to come a few minutes early whenever possible.

Viewing Area

We provide a viewing area, but space is limited.  We ask that you not block the view of others in the viewing area, and refrain from standing in the doorway to the preschool area or the main gym.  Parents are not allowed inside the main gym except to drop off or pick up students unless participating in a Parent and Tot class.  You are not required to stay during your child’s class, but are more than welcome to stay in the viewing area.  If you choose to stay, we ask that everyone be considerate of all of our clients.  Please do not allow siblings to climb or jump from the benches or to block the hallway. Parents, please refrain from talking to or interfering with your child during class.  No one is ever allowed on any equipment without an instructor.  Siblings not enrolled in classes are not allowed on any equipment unless participating in free open gym time.

Thank you for your help in keeping our viewing area as safe, clean and pleasant as possible for everyone.
