 Class Descriptions

 

 

Preschool

45 minute classes geared to children ages 2 – 5 years old.  We use equipment scaled down to fit small children, and give the children a general introduction to gymnastics.

 

 

Level 1

This level is for girls ages 6 & up who have no gymnastics experience.  This is a 1 hour class that will give girls an introduction to all the gymnastics equipment.

 

 

Level 2

This level is for girls ages 6 & up who have had up to one year of previous gymnastics instruction on all four pieces of apparatus, vaulting, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. This is a 1 hour class.

 

 

Level 3

This level is for girls ages 6 & up who have had up to two years of gymnastics instruction on all four pieces of apparatus, vaulting, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.  This is a 1 hour class.

 

 

Level 4/5

This level is for girls who have had more than two years of gymnastics instruction on all four pieces of apparatus, vaulting, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. This is a 1 ½ hour class.

 

 

Boys

These classes are for BOYS ONLY ages 5 & up, and will include instruction on vaulting, high bar, floor exercise, parallel bars, pommel horse and rings. This is a 1 hour class.

 

 

Beginning Cheer Tumbling

These 1 hour classes will teach tumbling specifically for beginning cheerleaders with no tumbling experience.

 

 

Intermediate Cheer Tumbling

These 1 hour classes will teach tumbling specifically for cheerleaders with some tumbling experience.  Skills taught will include standing back handsprings, running round-off to back handspring and standing back tucks.

 

 

Hip-Hop Dance

Children will learn basic fundamentals of hip-hop along with a wonderful cardio experience. This is a 1 hour class.

 

 

HIP-HOP And GYM Class

This 1 ¼ hour class will feature 45 minutes of Hip-Hop Dance and 30 minutes of beginner gymnastics instruction.

 

 

Fitness Class

A 45 minute class dedicated to improving overall fitness through stretch and flexibility training.
